Role Summary

Managing all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search engines

Educational Qualification

  • B.E./B.Tech in CS or Graduate in Mathematics
  • Certification Course in SEO / Digital Marketing

Experience

1-2 years hands on experience in SEO.

Technical Skills

  • Hands-on experience in SEO core elements including: on-page and off-page tactics, site-navigation optimization, internal linking and URL structure, metadata, headers, dynamic and static page templates, XML sitemaps, canonical tags, structured data tags, etc.
    Experience with SEO Tools: Google Analytics, SEO Moz, Google Webmaster tool, Bing webmaster tool, Majestic, Link analysis tools, competitor analysis tools, other link and keyword research tools.
  • Well organized, should have an eye for detail.
  • Should have solid understanding of search engine ranking factors, algorithms, site architectures and strategies.
  • Knowledge in all areas of SEO including strong technical skills (html, site architecture and content management systems).
  • Strong understanding of web analytics and ability to derive meaningful insights for creation of organic search strategies.
  • Comfortable in coordinating with Clients, Development Teams & Content Writers regarding changes required in the sites.
  • Ability to utilize social media such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google+, blogs and articles to influence search engine visibility.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentations skills

Role Details

  • Managing all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search engines
  • Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
  • Develop and implement link building strategy
  • Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are implemented on newly developed code
  • Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
  • Define requirements, tasks, and resources associated to SEO strategy
  • Manage and execute implementation of SEO strategy
  • Implement and administer search engine programs (XML sitemaps, shopping feeds, webmaster tools)
  • Monitor and evaluate web analytics dashboards and SEO reports
  • Manage Google Analytics for websites.
